VHHA Shared Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Marry as its new Chief Executive Officer effective as of May 25, 2023.
Matthew has been with VHHA since 2018 and previously served as Director of Emergency Preparedness. In addition, Matthew oversaw the implementation of several enhancements to the Virginia Healthcare Status & Alerting System (VHASS), including COVID-19 dashboards, pediatric bed dashboards during the surge of RSV, and Behavioral Health resources.
He previously served as the Medically Vulnerable Populations Coordinator with the Near Southwest Preparedness Alliance healthcare coalition in Roanoke, VA, where he was responsible for outreach with long-term care, home health, hospice, dialysis, and other organizations caring for the vulnerable populations in our communities.
Matthew earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University. Following graduation from GVSU, he was an athletic trainer on the Detroit Lions medical staff.
Matthew is excited to work with our members and partners in a new capacity, and VHHA Shared Services is looking forward to his leadership.
